Testnet and simulation

Symbolon runs on the Elysium testnet with real contracts for everything it owns, and mock contracts for the HyperCore side. This page lists exactly what is real, what is simulated, and the parameters in use.

What is real

Real contracts, real transactions, real explorer links:

  • Pots: opening, pledges, withdrawals, bounties, closing.
  • First Crossing escrow, claims and refunds.
  • Officiant bonds, unbonding, slashing.
  • Rite claiming, the seven verification checks, settlement, failure.
  • Refunds, bounty shares, Officiant payments, protocol fees to the Treasury.

What is simulated

The real HyperCore ticker auction and the deposit-wallet factory cannot be used from the Elysium testnet. Symbolon deploys mock contracts on the Elysium testnet that reproduce Hyperliquid's rules. The Rite runs against them.

Real HyperCoreTestnet mockRules reproduced
Ticker gas auctionMockTickerAuctionDutch auction, linear descent to a floor, one winner per window, next start at max(2 x last sale, 4 x floor) after a sale or 4 x floor without one, price burned
Spot deploy stateMockCoreStateLower-only fee share starting at 100%, one-shot genesis with optional staged balances, permanent link only after genesis, permanent freeze revocation, one-shot listing only after link, system address 0x20...index
Deposit-wallet factoryMockDepositWalletFactoryPermissionless, deterministic CREATE2 wallet per token, index and deployer, predictWallet and walletFor
Market reference priceDemoPriceSourceFixed demo prices so the start-price check runs as real code

Every mock contract states in its source header that it simulates Hyperliquid behaviour on testnet.

Price scale

Testnet prices are scaled: 0.05 test HYPE on testnet stands for the 500 HYPE mainnet floor reported by ecosystem builders. The window is 15 minutes instead of about 31 hours.

Only tokens with a reference price can pass check 7 on testnet. Any other token can have a Pot and receive pledges, but it is never eligible for a Rite.

Seed state

At deployment the site was seeded so it is alive from the first visit:

  • OLIVE went through a full Rite and is Listed, with its Seat emptied.
  • LYRE has an Open Pot with pledges from a few wallets and a bounty, waiting in the queue.
  • EMBER has no Pot, so a visitor can open one.

A demo Officiant bot can run Rites automatically. See Officiants.

Test HYPE has no value

Test HYPE and the demo tokens have no value. The site never asks for mainnet funds.
