Overview
Symbolon lists any Elysium token on the HyperCore spot order book. Holders fund the ticker, bonded operators run the listing ceremony, and the deployer's powers are destroyed at the end.
What Symbolon is
Elysium is a Layer 2 for Hyperliquid, built by Kinetiq. Its documentation describes a token lifecycle: launch on Elysium, deepen liquidity there, graduate to a HyperCore spot order book, then reach a perpetual listing through HIP-3.
The graduation step is the hard one. It is an issuer ceremony run from a single address, it costs a ticker bought at auction, and whoever runs it keeps permanent powers over the listed pair. Symbolon turns that ceremony into a public, funded and verified process that anyone can start, and that ends with nobody holding the deployer's powers.
Who it is for
| You are | What Symbolon gives you |
|---|---|
| A holder of a token with no team, or a fair-launched token | A way to fund the ticker together and get the token listed |
| A launchpad without its own HyperCore keeper | A neutral path to the order book for every token you host |
| A team that does not want to hold permanent powers | A listing where the fee share is zero and the freeze privilege is revoked |
| An operator with HYPE and time | A paid role: run Rites as an Officiant, against a bond |
The three parts
Pot
Pledge HYPE to give a token its ticker. Withdraw any time before the Rite starts.
Anyone opens a Pot for a standard Elysium ERC-20 and picks a free ticker of 1 to 6 characters. Sponsors pledge HYPE. There is no fixed goal: the ticker auction price comes down, and the largest Pot it reaches goes first. Anyone can add a bounty in the token itself. See Pots.
Rite
A bonded Officiant advances the ticker price and runs the six steps. Sponsors pay only if every check passes.
The Officiant pays the ticker with its own funds and performs the ceremony. The sponsors' HYPE stays in escrow until a contract has checked the result against HyperCore state. A compliant Rite repays the Officiant plus a fee. An abandoned or non-compliant Rite costs the Officiant its bond. See The Rite and Verification.
Seat
Fee share set to zero. Freeze revoked. Supply sealed. Nobody keeps the seat.
The Rite ends with three irreversible locks. After it, the Officiant's key can no longer take or block anything. See The Seat.
Current status
Symbolon runs on the Elysium testnet. The Pots, pledges, bounties, Officiant bonds, verification, settlement, refunds and slashing are real contracts and real transactions. The HyperCore side is simulated with mock contracts that reproduce Hyperliquid's rules, because the real ticker auction and deposit-wallet factory are not usable from the testnet. See Testnet and simulation.
