Quickstart

Try the whole Symbolon flow on the Elysium testnet in about five minutes. You need a wallet, a little test HYPE and the demo tokens from the faucet page.

Every page of the site works without a wallet. You only need one to send transactions.

Five minutes

  1. Get test HYPE from the Elysium faucet.
  2. Open the faucet page and mint the three demo tokens: OLIVE, LYRE and EMBER. Each gives 1,000,000 tokens once per address. They are demo tokens with no value.
  3. Open the queue. The auction widget at the top shows the ticker price coming down. The table shows every Pot by size and its distance to the current price.
  4. Pledge to the LYRE Pot, or open a Pot for EMBER if nobody has yet. Pick a free ticker of up to six characters.
  5. Watch the Pot. When the auction price plus 5% falls under the Pot total, an Officiant can claim the Rite. The Pot page then shows the Rite timeline step by step.

Run a Rite yourself

You can play the Officiant role by hand.

  1. On Officiants, post a bond of 0.1 test HYPE.
  2. When a Pot is eligible, press "Claim the Rite" in the Rite console.
  3. Press each step in order: buy ticker, create wallet, genesis, link, set fee share to 0, revoke freeze, list. Each button stays disabled until the previous transaction is confirmed. Buying the ticker uses your own test HYPE.
  4. Press "Settle". The contract runs seven checks against the simulated HyperCore state. If they pass, you are repaid the ticker price plus 3%.
  5. As a sponsor of that Pot, claim your refund of the surplus on the Pot page.

You need about 0.1 test HYPE for the bond plus the ticker price, which descends to 0.05 test HYPE at the end of each window.

When the demo tokens are taken

Once OLIVE, LYRE and EMBER all have Pots, use "Create a Specimen token" on the faucet page. It deploys a fresh demo token, "Specimen N" with symbol SPECN, with a reference price, and sends you 1,000,000 of it, so you can run the whole flow again.
